Senior Practice Accountant

We are delighted to be working with a friendly and busy accountancy practice based in Ilkeston, Derbyshire, who are looking for a qualified, Senior Practice Accountant to join the team.

This role is based in their Ilkeston main offices, an easy commute from Nottingham, Derby, Long Eaton, Heanor, Eastwood and more. They provide a modern and friendly working environment, with flexible working and working from home options.

This role is full time and they operate a 4 day working week as standard!

Role overview:

· Prepare financial accounts for a variety of Clients

· Analyse financial information and summarise financial status

· Supporting clients with adding value services and managing own portfolio

· Support month-end and year-end processes

· Provide technical support and advice for junior team members

· Provide client advisory services

· Visit and work from client premises may be required on occasion.

What you will need:

Successful applicants will need experience in accounting gained from practice and be able to demonstrate good working knowledge of accounting systems. In addition, you will have excellent communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team.
