Job Overview

Twenty2 Recruitment & Consultancy are excited to be working with a small and dynamic business in Nottingham to recruit an experienced Payroll Administrator to join the team.

This is a brand new and an exciting payroll opportunity for someone to join the business and be able to make the role their own and a success. It is a busy role, with a variety of payrolls to be processed. Successful applicants will need to have experience in payroll and ideally experience in processing multiple payrolls.

The role is working as part of a close-knit team within a supportive and friendly working environment.

The role is full time – Monday to Friday 8.30am-4.30pm, Office based.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collate & analyse weekly timesheets, ensuring allocation to the appropriate payroll.
  • Accurately process payroll runs on a forth nightly and monthly basis including pensions and statutory returns via Sage Payroll.
  • Analyse payroll reports to identify discrepancies and rectify errors promptly.
  • Post payroll journals and costings onto Sage Accounts.
  • Monitor and update holiday and absence records.
  • Maintaining accurate and current employee information and training documentation is essential.
  • Process expense payments in a timely manner.
  • Support the accounts team with adhoc tasks to ensure a smooth running of the company.

About You

  • Previous experience in a payroll administration role, processing multiple payroll runs would also be advantageous.
  • Strong working knowledge of Sage and be able to pick up new software systems.
  • Proficient in MS Office Packages.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Be able to multi task and prioritise workloads.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of human resource practices related to payroll processing.
