Office Manager/PA

Location: Ashbourne, Derbyshire

Salary: £33000

Our Client is looking for an experienced Office Manager/PA to join the team. This is a newly created role and an excellent opportunity to join a vibrant and growing business.

The role encompasses the day-to-day running of the office, managing the business operations, supporting with social media, marketing and events management plus supporting the Directors with administrative duties and diary management.

This is a lovely role for an experienced professional to join a busy and friendly office environment.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday – office-based. Flexible working hours can be arranged.

General Office Duties…

  • Answering incoming calls and greeting guests
  • Supply inventory and ordering
  • Office equipment upkeep: printers, copiers, air conditioners, etc.
  • Oversight of office-related contracts
  • Keeping office and kitchen area tidy
  • Maintaining H&S requirements: fire alarm testing, PAT testing, fire risk assessments, fire extinguishers, emergency lighting tests, etc.
  • Coordinate office maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Fleet Management
  • Management of Business Operations


Social Media, Creative and Events…

  • Social media planning
  • Creating posts and posting to social media channels. Engage with audiences across social platforms to enhance brand presence.
  • Identify opportunities to grow the company brand through strategic social media initiatives.
  • Keep the website updated and relevant with timely content
  • Creating ad hoc posters, announcements and presentations.
  • Creating the company quarterly newsletter
  • Planning and oversite of staff and client events


Personal Assistant to Directors…

  • Assist the director with ad hock tasks as required
  • Arrange internal/external meetings as required
  • Set agendas, minute take (as required), follow up on action logs
  • Prepare presentations for internal/external use, ensuring correct brand image is projected
